The idea started as a way to document the founder’s newly formed love for Bourbon and community. Validated by fellow bourbon lovers, The Bourbonite Society was launched for fellow adventure seekers with sophisticated palates to connect, build and strengthen relationships in casual social settings.
Based in Roanoke, Virginia, we provide highly curated bourbon lifestyle news and timely updates to our members through public and private membership portals. However, our reach is nationwide, the Bourbon Barrel Ambassadors support the network get involved in the fun too. We hold private in-person events for our Barrel Ambassadors. These events include society brunches, dinners parties, tastings, fundraisers, barrel picks, rep-lead talks, and much more. Barrel Ambassadors from all walks of life gather over America’s native spirit, bourbon, and honor our rich distilling history.
We host both public and private events. For public events, we might collaborate with local businesses and have a presence at events happening around town. This gives us an opportunity to meet our virtual members who graciously support our website and the network we are building.
We are open to the novice just starting their bourbon journey to the seasoned enthusiast who can teach us all a thing or two in the private online forums. However, if you just like beer, we will welcome you as one of our own!
So ….after your elaborate secret hooded new member ceremony that takes place in the wee hours of the morning on a full moon, can you be fully inducted into our society……..Just kidding..
